We Empower our community
We believe that in order to invoke meaningful, transformative change in a capitalist society there must be an awareness that economic problems require economic solutions. Thus, true empowerment must – at its core – be focused on employment and small business. We seek to empower our community by partnering with small, local businesses to strengthen their profitability through the development of internship posts, where our role will be to identify and equip potential interns as well as providing funding to the businesses for the interns.
OUR GOALS
Our goal as Tabitha House is two-fold
We want to be a resource to small businesses. We will seek to provide support and expertise to entrepreneurs who need help with different areas of their business. We will assist the entrepreneurs primarily by identifying, training, equipping, mobilizing and funding interns who will work for the small businesses.
To help people in our community find employment, or to provide what is necessary to help make them employable. We endeavor to do this by providing skills development opportunities, education opportunities, mentorship and networking opportunities to help them become employable and find employment.
